London
Our London story began back in 1984 at Lanterns Court on the Isle of Dogs, before moving on to the historic Metropolitan Wharf and then to lively Clerkenwell, which has long been regarded as the creative heartbeat of architecture. In October 2025, we relocated to 14 Wharf Road in Islington, joining Webb Yates and a community of architecture studios all under one roof.

Our London studio is based in a converted warehouse and former gallery just off City Road, between Old Street and Angel. Only a ten-minute walk from Angel Tube and well served by local bus routes, our first-floor space offers the team a private terrace with leafy views over the canal, a bright, open workspace, and shared facilities that foster collaboration with neighbouring creative practices.
The studio is home to over 35 specialists spanning landscape design, masterplanning, landscape planning and planting design.
Beyond project work, our team keeps the studio lively with socials, sketch club and garden visits, as well as cultural celebrations.
Our work in London reflects the city’s ambition to reinvent itself as a greener, more liveable capital. From the creation of new green neighbourhoods such as Elephant Park, to the retrofit and conversion of existing offices and the design of innovative roof gardens at Google’s King’s Cross Headquarters and the 5* NABERS-rated 11 Belgrave Road, our projects demonstrate how integrating nature into the city can enhance wellbeing, improve quality of life, and help address the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.
Our teams are shaping new green communities and public realm enhancements that reconnect people with nature, from reimagined streetscapes and restored waterfronts to elevated gardens and resilient urban landscapes. Beyond the capital, we are also delivering new town extensions, such as West of Ifield and city-scale masterplans, helping to guide sustainable growth across the UK.
Our landscape planning team ensures that new developments minimise environmental impact, strengthen local ecosystems and create lasting benefits for the communities they serve.
