London

Our London story began back in 1984 at Lanterns Court on the Isle of Dogs, before moving on to the historic Metropolitan Wharf and then to lively Clerkenwell, which has long been regarded as the creative heartbeat of architecture. In October 2025, we relocated to 14 Wharf Road in Islington, joining Webb Yates and a community of architecture studios all under one roof.

Our London studio is based in a converted warehouse just off City Road, between Old Street and Angel. A short walk from Angel Tube, the first-floor space includes a bright, open studio, shared creative facilities and a private terrace overlooking the canal.

The studio is home to over 35 specialists spanning landscape design, masterplanning, landscape planning and planting design.  Our work in London supports the city’s ambition to be a greener, more liveable capital, from new neighbourhoods and public realm projects, such as Elephant Park to retrofits and innovative roof gardens, such as  Google’s King’s Cross Headquarters and the 5* NABERS-rated 11 Belgrave Road, our work shows how nature-led design can enhance wellbeing, support biodiversity and add long-term value.

Alongside design, the studio leads landscape planning and landscape assessment work that helps unlock sustainable development. We support renewable energy, new towns and strategic growth by understanding landscape character and capacity, reducing environmental impact and strengthening ecosystems. Through clear, evidence-based advice, we help clients and communities shape places that are resilient, distinctive and built to last.
