
Xin's bio
Since joining Gillespies as a Graduate Landscape Architect in 2019, Xin has been instrumental in developing concept design proposals for a series of leisure and residential projects in the UK, Asia and the Middle East.
Project highlights include landscape design for a new embassy in London, ecological masterplans for tourism in Saudi Arabia, and a high-end residential scheme in Shanghai.
Before joining Gillespies, Xin worked for several London and Beijing-based design practices, gaining experience across various project stages. Notable projects included the planning and design of a Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre near the Palace of Westminster, the development of Vauxhall Square, and the final stage of the Gree Shanghai community landscape programme.
Xin holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Edinburgh, with a focus on urbanism and strengthening the connection between urban residents and nature. She also completed a BLA at Beijing Forestry University.
