Oxford
The Oxford studio moved into the characterful Coach House at Bagley Croft in the 1990’s, quickly establishing a successful design hub a short cycle ride from Oxford’s historic city centre. Surrounded by mature woodland, the Coach House provides an idyllic creative setting for the team whilst offering great local, national and international transport links to support our diverse project portfolio.

The open plan main studio comfortably accommodates our team, with adjoining spaces including a generous social and kitchen space looking out over a private terrace area to the woods beyond. The kitchen space is the hub of the studio; home to lunchtime discussion, staff meetings, social events, and informal workspace, with the ever changing woodland backdrop providing an immediate visual and physical connection to nature.
In keeping with the setting, the studio environment is relaxed and welcoming; a creative environment on the edge of Oxford with cultural and project connections that extend worldwide

From academic campuses for the University of Oxford to historic floating harbours at Wapping Wharf, we have helped shape some of Oxford’s and the South West’s most significant educational, retail, commercial and heritage environments. Our work focuses on improving everyday experience through landscapes that support improved wellbeing, accessibility and biodiversity, while responding to growth and climate pressures. Our work also supports historic cities such as Oxford and Bristol in adapting streets and public spaces to new patterns of movement and urban life.
Beyond the South West, our Oxford team works closely with our London studio on projects ranging from new town developments such as West of Ifield and East Hemel to major national infrastructure schemes, while also contributing to international work across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.
