Stephen Richards is a Partner and owner of Gillespies. An advocate for landscape-led development, Stephen’s approach unlocks a more sustainable urban ecology, based on a combination of water conservation, active travel, flexible spaces, adaptive microclimates and the best use of limited resources – an approach that resonates throughout his portfolio, which includes the RIBA Stirling Prize shortlisted NEO Bankside and Macallan Distillery in Speyside, and the reimagination of St Helier Waterfront in Jersey.
