Gillespies appointed to deliver the next phase of Royal Arsenal Riverside, Woolwich

Gillespies has been appointed by Berkeley Homes to deliver new landscapes for Waterfront Buildings, the next phase of the masterplan vision for Royal Arsenal Riverside in Woolwich. The new plans will see a number of new buildings - set within a sculpted green landscape - developed to the west of the forthcoming Waterfront Park.

This appointment continues Gillespies work at Royal Arsenal Riverside where we are delivering a holistic Landscape and Public Realm masterplan for the entire site, including the new 4-acre linear 'Waterfront Park', a communal park that will establish a green link to connect the Royal Arsenal and Woolwich town centre to the River Thames.

Once complete, the Royal Arsenal Riverside development will provide luxury Thames-side living and a myriad of beautiful public and private open green spaces for both residents and visitors to enjoy. The introduction of Woolwich Crossrail will improve transport connectivity, making Woolwich a major new landmark destination.
