Construction begins at Bond Square as part of the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre

The redevelopment of Bracknell Town Centre into a social and cultural heart for the borough continues as construction begins at Bond Square. The scheme is part of a masterplan by Bracknell Regeneration Partnership to transform Bracknell Town Centre into a new vibrant shopping and leisure destination, providing 60,000 square metres of new retail and leisure facilities.

At the heart of the redevelopment is the creation of a pedestrian-friendly public realm consisting of new and renewed connecting routes, a new High Street - renamed New Broadway - and a series of green landscaped squares. Gillespies are delivering the entire public realm for the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre.

Linking the large Waitrose to the new town centre, Bond Square forms a key green space within the town centre. Lined with ornamental trees, Bond Square's open green space and amphitheatre-style seating has been designed to facilitate events and entertainment while also acting as a central point for visitors to convene and relax.

Bond Square is currently on site and due for completion in May 2017.
