Gillespies awards The Fraser Teal Award 2016 to outstanding student

Tom Walker, Partner at Gillespies, awarded this year's 'Gillespies Fraser Teal Award' to Pippa Brown, for outstanding urban design.

Gillespies established this award to celebrate the work and life of Fraser Teal - a former partner at Gillespies and ex-student of Leeds Metropolitan University who sadly passed away in 2004.

Gillespies present this award annually to a student who has excelled in a particular project on the Leeds Metropolitan Urban Design Masters programme.

Commenting on the choice of recipient for this year's award, Tom Walker said "Pippa Brown was a clear winner this year with an excellent display and portfolio. Pippa showed an impressive commitment to high quality urban design, and completed the course whilst also working full time."
