A new residential quarter in the heart of Stratford providing 1,200 high-quality homes, as well as a new linear park running east to west through the site.
The project involves the redevelopment of a vacant, triangular site located immediately south of the existing Westfield Stratford City Shopping Centre, into a new residential‑led mixed use development alongside a series of new public spaces.
A new publicly accessible square will be delivered within the scheme, forming a green heart to the development for the enjoyment of local residents and the wider local community. The square will provide 2,700 square metres of open green park space, consisting of a central, open area of lawn with smaller intimate spaces incorporating ornamental planting, seating, and play features for children. Although this scheme was residential‑led, the ground and first floors forming the perimeter to the park are to accommodate a mix of uses including community facilities, restaurants and cafes.
