Mian's bio
Mian’s masters degree in Landscape Architecture from Newcastle University has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the cultural elements, spatial experiences, plant configurations and construction details required to deliver successful designs. Through hard work and research, Mian obtained a postgraduate degree with distinction, and her finial thesis was in the finalist of the Landscape Institute award 2022.
Mian has experience in urban design, conceptual design, masterplanning and has a particular interest in using site features to create unique and resilient landscapes. Prior to joining Gillespies, Mian completed an internship with PAK Lighting Corporation in Guangzhou, China. Through this experience Mian gained an appreciation of the role and effect of street furniture especial lightings in the landscape.
Since joining Gillespies in September 2022, Mian has worked on landscape design for Shoreditch Works, Park Royal Poad and construction detail for King’s Road Park phases 3 and 4, a mixed-use scheme in London.
