Supporting Leeds Beckett landscape architecture students

Last week Partner Jim Gibson delivered a tour of Mayfield Park in Manchester for 17 students, with distinguished Gillespies ex-colleague John MacCleary.

John has been Course Director for Landscape Architecture at Leeds Beckett University since 2018, before which he was a key member of the Gillespies team, including helping to deliver the award-winning City Park in Bradford. He noted that Mayfield Park is a great example of nature-led design, showing "how we can bring people, place and nature together and re-imagine our cities".

The tour formed part of Gillespies corporate social responsibility programme. Jim said: "Hopefully through transformative projects like Mayfield Park we can help inspire the next generation of talent."
