Three projects shortlisted at the 2026 Pineapple Awards

We are delighted to share that three of our projects have been shortlisted across three categories at the 2026 Pineapple Awards. Now in their eighth year, the awards, organised by The Developer magazine, celebrate places that make a positive contribution to urban life.

Developed alongside The Helmsley Group, Brown & Company, O'Neil Associates, Montagu Evans, SCP Transport, Aspect 4 and Jane Simpson Access.

Public Space: Rochdale Town Hall - The restoration of Rochdale Town Hall and the reinvention of its surrounding public spaces has created a new civic town square and destination, physically and intellectually improving access to the building and its heritage. Delivered for Rochdale Borough Council with Rochdale Development Agency, Donald Insall Associates and a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including Max Fordam,  HH Smith & Sons Co Ltd, Frank Whittle Partnership, Price & Myers, Buro Happold, Redman Design, Hirst Conservation, Lancashire Conservation Trust, York Glaziers Trust, Darwen Terracotta and Broadbent Studio

International Future Place: Jabal Thabeer, Saudi Arabia - A concept masterplan that reimagines Mount Thabeer as a sanctuary for reflection, prayer and rest. The project honours the rituals of Hajj and Umrah while enhancing comfort and wellbeing for future pilgrims. Created in partnership with client Kidana, PUD Consultants, Systematica and Studio 4215.

The teams will now present at a live judging event, with results announced at the Festival of Place party in April.
