Ferrum shortlisted for design award

Ferrum in Wembley Park has been shortlisted in the Mixed-Use category in the inaugural Brent Council Design Awards.

Gillespies partnered with JTP on the project, originally called 'South West Lands,' for client Quintain. The awards celebrate excellence in buildings and places within the borough of Brent, and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 11 May 2023.

Ferrum is a new mixed-use residential neighbourhood in north west London. Gillespies delivered the site wide landscape masterplan as well as detailed design for Phases 1 and 2 of the scheme. The landscape design created external spaces that contribute to the setting and uses of the buildings, and integrate the development with its surrounding context. The project creates a new gateway from the southwest to the iconic Wembley Stadium, balancing the accommodation of match-day crowds with the everyday intimacy of homes which enjoy a series of south-facing courtyards.
