Crossrail Place Roof Garden opens as part of Open House

Join Gillespies, the landscape architects behind the award-winning Crossrail Place Roof Garden in Canary Wharf, for exclusive guided tours as part of this year’s Open House London on Saturday 16th September 2017.

Located above the Crossrail station in Canary Wharf, this innovative roof garden showcases cutting-edge landscape architecture that transforms infrastructure into a biodiverse public space. The garden features a unique ETFE roof structure, planting inspired by global maritime trade routes and a carefully curated planting palette that creates a resilient, year-round green space in the heart of London’s financial district.

Tours will explore the landscape design and architecture of the new garden, exploring its innovative roof structure, its rich maritime history, and the story behind the planting selection.

Tours will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 16th September.
