As Russian business continues to grow at home and abroad, the country is investing heavily in improving is facilities and infrastructure. At the heart of plans to revitalise Skolkovo are a new Moscow Business School and an ambitious new landmark Business Park.

Moscow in particular is experiencing major investment and the Skolkovo district of the city is currently the subject of a extensive regeneration drive.

The masterplan for the site comprises two phases which include a large residential component and a significant new retail destination. The site is characterised by the topography and concentrated flood plain of the Setun River valley and the northern site boundary is marked by the MKAD motorway, which is the outer ring of Moscow’s road network.

The groundbreaking scheme will feature of a strong parkland landscape setting for the development, with a clear transition between external terraces for building use, a transitional landscape of blended hard and soft areas and a parkland setting and river corridor blended hard and soft areas and a parkland setting and river corridor beyond. Seasonal factors define a lake which converts to a skating rink. Sculptural elements and coloured lighting within the landscape provide a legible structure during winter months.
