Warren is an Associate Partner at Gillespies’ Manchester studio and a highly experienced landscape architect with over 20 years of expertise in public realm and landscape design, park restoration and heritage landscapes. He has worked extensively across both the public and private sectors, combining pragmatic problem-solving with innovative design solutions.
Specialising in the detailed design and delivery of public parks, historic gardens, and contemporary urban green spaces, Warren has led multi-disciplinary teams on large and complex regeneration and development projects. His portfolio includes commercial landscapes, university campuses, educational environments, and high-profile public realm schemes.
Notable projects include the delivery of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Birley Fields Campus, the restoration of Northumberland Park, The Piece Hall in Halifax and Rochdale Town Hall and the creation of a biophilic garden in Belfast called City Quays Gardens and RHS Bridgewater.
Warren’s work has been exhibited at the RHS Tatton Flower Show, reflecting his strong horticultural expertise and passion for planting design. His deep knowledge of historic designed landscapes and gardens adds unique value to heritage and conservation projects.
