Teresa's bio
Teresa is a Landscape Architect with a strong architectural background, having shifted her focus to landscape architecture to follow her passion. She believes in the importance of sustainable public realm design in fostering communities and diversity.
Since joining Gillespies, Teresa has contributed to projects at every stage, from concept to construction. Notable projects include the regeneration of Convent Way Estate in Hounslow, a multi-phase mixed-use development in Fulham, and the ongoing development of Elephant Park.
Before pursuing landscape architecture, Teresa worked as an architectural assistant in Bali for IBUKU, where she gained extensive knowledge in bamboo architecture and sustainable materials. She contributed to projects such as Eclipse House, a private residence in an eco-village, and a custom bamboo structure sent to Area15 in Las Vegas.
Teresa completed her Master’s in Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich in 2021, with a focus on community engagement in the public realm, privately owned public spaces, and the design of child-friendly cities.
