
Kenneth's bio
Kenneth is an urban designer with over 25 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. As an Associate Partner, he leads Gillespies’ portfolio of urban design, masterplanning and regeneration work in the north.
A creative yet pragmatic designer, Kenneth has a broad range of consultancy, client and academic experience in making places better for people. This experience includes a variety of urban design, regeneration and masterplanning projects for both public and private sector clients, from inception to implementation, in collaboration with stakeholders and local communities. He works at a range of scales, from new neighbourhoods and national infrastructure, down to individual buildings, spaces and streets.
With a background in architecture, transport and highways, and key skills in visioning, development feasibility, design guidance and coding, design review and engagement, Kenneth can work across disciplines as an urban designer and masterplanner, often taking a design coordination role.
