Kate's bio
Kate is a Landscape Architect with two years of professional experience, having worked in New Zealand on a diverse range of landscape architecture projects including large-scale park spaces, public reserves, subdivisions, universities, and cemetery masterplans.
Recently joining Gillespies’ Leeds office, Kate is eager to expand professional skills and develop experience within both the UK and international context. Contributing across a variety of projects, Kate brings versatility, creativity, and strong attention to detail, with a particular passion for understanding people and place to ensure every design outcome is empathetic, meaningful, and impactful.
The role focuses on project delivery, encompassing concept and detailed design, preparation of drawing packages, 3D modelling, visualisation and supporting project management throughout the design process.
She is currently working on designs for Colchester Zoo, Greyfriars, Northampton and Langham Hotel.Â
