George's bio
George is a Graduate Landscape Architect with over a year’s part time experience. Working for Lichen Studio as part of a small team, his role was to support senior members in all aspects from initial conceptual design to construction drawing packs. In his previous career as an engineer George developed a strong understanding of built form. He gained experience in design, production and sales as he developed from a fabricator into an internal sales engineer.
During his 3-year degree at the University of Gloucestershire, he built a key base of skills, which he is developing further within practice. His visualisation style consists of hand drawn and computerised renders, creating personal responses to represent individual sites and their briefs. Since joining Gillespies in September 2024, George has worked on North West Hemel Hempstead and Nexpo Linear Park.
