Ethan's bio
Ethan is an Assistant Landscape Planner in Manchester with experience supporting the delivery of landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA), baseline studies, and site appraisals for complex infrastructure, transport, energy, and residential development projects. He joined Gillespies in 2025 after completing postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol’s School of Geographical Sciences, where he specialised in environmental planning, spatial analysis and sustainability.
At Gillespies, Ethan contributes to a wide range of landscape planning and assessment projects across the UK, helping to shape sensitive, high-quality development through clear and robust analysis. His technical expertise includes ArcGIS Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and advanced photography and image editing, including panoramic stitching using PTGui, ensuring accurate visualisation and strong visual evidence to support planning submissions.
