
Emily's bio
Emily works on both landscape design and landscape planning projects utilising her creative design and analytical written skills to blend the design and assessment disciplines of landscape architecture. She also supports with the production of design graphics, REVIT modelling and document collation.
Emily is a driven and creative individual, who is versatile, methodical and a strategic thinker. Emily has worked on a number of UK urban regeneration masterplan projects for mixed used developments, developed design guidance/coding, worked on visitor destination projects from masterplanning through to implementation, and is also involved with a number of landscape planning projects. Emily is interested in exploring how context driven design can be interwoven in the landscape by drawing on ideas, theories and critical thinking. She also has strong written and communication skills developed from her previous working experience in the legal sector.
Emily won the LDA Student Design Bursary in 2020 drawing on her ideas and context driven process to propose an innovative management approach to utilising garden spaces as an underused landscape resource
