Bethany's bio
Beth Keel is a highly motivated and adaptable Landscape Architect with over four years of professional experience, currently based in the Manchester studio at Gillespies. She holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture with Distinction from the University of Sheffield, and originally joined Gillespies as a Year-Out Landscape Assistant in 2018, before returning in 2020 as a full-time team member.
Since rejoining, Beth has contributed to a broad portfolio of projects spanning the UK and Saudi Arabia, including large-scale masterplanning, public realm strategies and landscape-led urban regeneration. Her work supports the delivery of sustainable, resilient, and inclusive landscapes, reflecting Gillespies’ commitment to designing places that connect people with nature.
She has strong technical and graphic capabilities, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, and other 3D visualisation tools. Beth also has outstanding written and verbal communication skills, which is essential for design reports, stakeholder presentations and planning support.
Certified as Carbon Literate and currently progressing through the Pathway to Chartership (P2C) with the Landscape Institute, Beth continues to expand her expertise in green infrastructure, sustainable planting design and landscape construction detailing.
