Alfie's bio
Alfie is an assistant landscape architect, who is eager to get hands on with future projects to gain experience in the industry before applying for a masters. Analysing each unique site context, he aims to create a detailed response that has a strong and engaging character, which serves as a quality place for people to help communities thrive. His primary interests are in construction detailing and concept design visualisation, which gives him the strength and knowledge to understand how projects come together to achieve the required outcome.
At university his final project was focused on redesigning Aire Park, which is situated in the South Bank, Leeds. The design aimed to reconnect the segregated area of Leeds Docks and other surrounding residential areas towards the city centre. Whilst his dissertation analysed the benefits of urban parks and what they can provide for the environment and society. Alfie graduated in 2022 with a Ba (Hons) degree in Landscape Architecture from Leeds Beckett University. There he received an award for the “Most Improved” for his dedication and hard work throughout his time on the course.
