The park at the heart of Elephant Park opens

Families and people from all around Elephant & Castle were invited down to a free fun day to celebrate the official opening of the first phase of the new park at Elephant Park on Saturday, 12 August.

The Park is the centrepiece of Lendlease’s wider Elephant Park development that will regenerate the former Heygate Estate into a new residential quarter. Gillespies has delivered the landscape design for the park, which introduces a sequence of open green spaces, play trails and an abundance of existing mature trees.
