St Cuthbert's Garden Village Concept and Vision Report Published

The concept and vision report for the St Cuthbert’s Garden village, a new 10,000-home garden village in Carlisle, is now published.

Our urban design team in Manchester prepared the report with support from Hemingway Design, WYG and LSH in conjunction with Carlisle City Council. This first stage of work on the Garden Village incorporates feedback from a range of consultation and engagement events undertaken throughout its preparation and sets out the high-level framework including the vision and nine guiding principles to guide the development of the Stage 2 Masterplan.

In addition to delivering a vision for the new village, we have supported the successful case for £102m of Government funding for the critical Carlisle Southern Link Road.

You can read the report on the dedicated St Cuthbert's Garden Village website.
