Designs for the former Nestlé factory given go ahead

The proposed regeneration of the former Nestlé factory has been granted planning consent by Hillingdon Council. Developed by SEGRO and Barratt London, this mixed use development will provide 1386 new homes together with new retail, local community and leisure facilities, as well as extensive landscaping by Gillespies.

The scheme is being delivered by Hawkins\Brown, dMFK Architects, Michael Sparks Architects and Makower Architects.

The landscape masterplan provides a myriad of new and existing public spaces, including Wallis Gardens, a garden that once served as a grand arrival space for the former Art Deco factory. The landscape proposals also include a new public plaza, named after Eugen Sandow, the man who built the factory in 1913, and a site wide trim trail.
