Crossrail Place Roof Garden opens for OpenHouse

We’re excited to announce that we are once again opening Crossrail Place Roof Garden for Open House London, which takes place across the weekend of 21st and 22nd September 2019.

The Crossrail Place Roof Garden in Canary Wharf is the first new building to open for Crossrail – London’s new east-west rail link. Located above the new station, the garden is a celebration of the docklands maritime heritage, showcasing unusual plants from across the globe, encased beneath an intricate lattice roof designed by world renowned architects, Foster and Partners.

Gillespies will host hourly tours of the garden on Saturday 21st September from 10am to 1pm. The tours will begin in the performance space at the east end of the garden.

We look forward to showcasing this incredible public space, which is a tribute to the trade and botanical importance of this area in London’s history.

Now in its 25th year, Open House London is the world’s largest architectural festival, providing free access to over 500 buildings across the City.
