Three unique and innovative courtyard houses are open to the public for the first time this weekend. These architecturally important houses represent an environmentally sustainable and experimental style of development which aims to successfully cite urban modernist form into a rural setting. In a rare departure from the larger scale projects Gillespies is known for, the practice has fashioned truly individual modernist gardens for each of these Terry Farrell- designed houses.
