22 Hanover Square wins planning

22 Hanover Square, the transformation of a 1920s office block into a mixed-use apartment and hotel scheme in Mayfair, has just secured planning consent.

Led by Roger Stirk Harbour and Partners (RSHP), 22 Hanover Square will comprise 41 flats, a 51-bedroom 5-star hotel, a restaurant and a luxury spa alongside much needed improvement works to the public realm in Brook Street as part of the wider masterplan for the square.

Gillespies were appointed by RSHP to consider the townscape setting and wider public realm improvements in support of the planning application. Our response provides a new plaza for the hotel and improvements to the public realm, offering new pedestrianized links and better connectivity to the new Crossrail station at Hanover Square.
