Sheena is an Associate Partner at Gillespies and a landscape architect with over 25 years of experience delivering projects across a wide range of sectors and scales. A strategic thinker and creative collaborator, she excels in guiding clients to implement transformative landscape and public realm strategies for projects of any size. Her work is driven by a commitment to enhancing biodiversity, fostering community connections, and creating spaces that instil pride in residents.

As a dynamic project manager and communicator, Sheena has a formidable track record in transforming landscapes and public spaces for new communities, urban extensions, and town centre regenerations. Her expertise, honed through collaborations with both public and private sectors, drives impactful change. In Ebbsfleet Garden City, Kent, she drafted the landscape strategy for Castle Hill and authored the visionary landscape-led Ebbsfleet Public Realm Strategy. Her bold approach has revitalised urban areas, including the dramatic regeneration of Woking Town Centre and the historic Royal William Yard in Plymouth, turning these towns into vibrant community hubs of exceptional quality.

Sheena also serves on the Design South East Design Panel and is an Expert on the Government’s High Streets Task Force, where she guides local leaders in redefining their high streets and town centres.
