Ryan Bailey

Ryan is a proactive and passionate Landscape Architect who excels in the production of creative, innovative and technically resolved design solutions. His design ethos places focus on the creation of spaces which are immersive and transformative, drawing on the context and history of the site to deliver pioneering spaces truly embedded in their context.

Since joining Gillespies in 2016, having successfully completed his MA degree, Ryan has worked on a wide range of projects at varying scales which have enabled him to further develop and fine-tune his skillset, which draws on his particular interests in concept design. Notable projects include the landscape and public realm design for Globe Road, a build-to-rent development in the South Bank area of Leeds that will open up access to the canal and riverside.
