Associated Business Parks — a leading Chinese Developer — is transforming the derelict dockland site it into a leading international business hub that will benefit from its close proximity to the DLR and City Airport.

The masterplan development consists of a commercially‑led mixed‑use scheme by Farrells on behalf of ABP and their UK development partner Stanhope. The proposed site occupies the existing historic dockland fronting the basin and references much of its former use in defining a singular character for the scheme. Linear streets and blocks create a number of opportunities to create a varied public realm landscape.

Eight squares punctuate the development and relate to the proposed retail offer and residential components. The landscape design not only contributes to the setting and uses of the proposed buildings but adds to the enjoyment of the wider community by providing engaging, innovative and freely accessible public spaces.
