View project intro

The Emirates Towers District saw a successful collaboration with CRTKL to deliver a complex mix of new commercial and residential real estate to the existing Emirates Towers site, interspersed with high-quality private and public and open spaces.

Gillespies was commissioned to deliver landscape design and public realm enhancements for this thriving district in the heart of Dubai.

To the north of the site, the creation of two new 50-storey residential towers provides a range of high-quality new homes with access to multiple landscape terraces and amenity decks for residents’ sole use. A single, large drop-off courtyard and central manicured ground-level garden form a significant placemaking opportunity for retail spill-out.

To the southern edge of the development, an additional four low-rise commercial buildings meet the demand for high-quality office space, fronting onto two carefully crafted public realm and drop off spaces, connected via a periphery landscaped boulevard streetscape.

The development also comprised the complete refurbishment of the existing podium to the commercial/administrative tower and the Jumeirah Hotel tower.
