Two acres of landscaping is at the heart of this new mixed‑use scheme that will transform a 1980s business park into a new landmark destination, offering a rich mix of residential, office and retail spaces.
250 City Road is a new landmark mixed‑use development on a prominent site in Islington, opposite the City Road Basin. The project transforms an existing 1980s business park into a new high‑rise residential quarter, consisting of a range of small‑scale residential blocks and two elegant residential towers set around a new green park.
Working closely with project architects Foster + Partners, Gillespies is developing a series of innovative landscape spaces that will enrich the residential experience, a framework of new routes to provide enhanced connections between Islington and the City, and the new central park at the heart of the scheme, which will activated by cafes, restaurants, retail outlets, and creative workspaces.
