Zehra's bio
Zehra is a Graduate Landscape Architect at Gillespies’ Leeds office, having completed her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture in 2023.
She plays an integral role in project development, from concept design through to technical detailing, visualisations, and research. Her experience includes working on a large, multi-phased housing refurbishment project, where she developed a strong foundation in detailed design and technical delivery.
Growing up in Turkey, Zehra developed a deep awareness of climate change and sustainability, fuelling her passion for landscape design that responds to environmental challenges. She is particularly interested in how UK planting schemes can embrace Mediterranean influences to create more resilient and dynamic landscapes.
Her diverse experience spans residential and mixed-use developments, as well as international projects. Eager to expand her expertise, she is now embarking on her Pathway to Chartership, continuously pushing her skills and knowledge forward.
