Simon's bio
Simon brings over 12 years of professional experience in landscape architecture and masterplanning across global markets. He has successfully delivered projects at every stage – from concept and detailed design through to client engagement and project management – with a portfolio that includes residential developments, museums, large-scale university campuses, public realm design, urban design, and masterplanning.
Before joining Gillespies' Manchester studio in 2025, Simon gained extensive international experience with leading practices including AtkinsRéalis (Dubai), Martha Schwartz Partners (Shanghai), Landscape Collaboration Co. Ltd. (Bangkok), and Michael Vergason Landscape Architects (Washington, D.C.). He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University and previously studied at Hunan University, China.
