Sabah's bio
Sabah is a Senior Landscape Architect with considerable experience in landscape planning and design. Her professional experience includes working on high-profile government-led projects the UK and internationally both in global multi-disciplinary organisations and smaller specialist consultancies. She is a natural collaborator and has a passion for supporting a balanced multidisciplinary approach to shape responsible and sustainable design and land management.
Before joining Gillespies, Sabah worked for Jacobs and Tyler Grange and believes working with these diverse practices and the delivery of a wide variety of landscape design, planning and assessment projects, has helped develop her skills and understand the vital role of the landscape architect in responsibly shaping the built environment. She has been involved with large-scale masterplanning projects, development strategies, landscape and visual assessments and a variety of design development projects including landscape management. Some of her notable projects include river catchment and wastewater projects for United Utilities, river and landscape design / management / restoration for the Environment Agency, landscape and visual assessment of High-Speed Rail 2 (HS2) and assisting landscape strategies for city scale developments in the MENA area.
With a diverse skill set encompassing various aspects of design, including masterplanning, environmental / landscape design, and planting design, Sabah balances creativity and innovation to every project she undertakes and a genuine desire to learn fuels her continuous growth and development in this dynamic field.
