Merve's bio
Merve is a Landscape Architect with a year’s experience designing and representing public realm schemes in practice. Graduating from Bilkent University, Turkey, in 2021 as an honour student; her graduation project was awarded the Baris Eyikan prize in the 22nd Urban Design Competition. During her studies, Merve worked on a range of projects across urban design and landscape architecture, with her thesis focusing on the creation of a new multifunctional layout in the former industrial site of Eskisehir.
After graduating, Merve became a member of the UCTEA Chamber of Landscape Architects in Turkey and worked in Ankara for a Landscape Architecture practice, Promim. Here, she gained experience liaising with clients and developing landscape and public realm designs in various contexts-from conceptual stages through to project delivery. Merve’s skill for visual representation skills has led to her projects being published on architectural visualisation platforms this continues to motivate her to push the limits of her sense of aesthetics and visual skills throughout her study and professional life.
