Busra's bio
Busra is a Senior Landscape Architect and Urban Designer in Gillespies’ London studio, specialising in sustainable urban design, placemaking, and landscape ecology. She holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the Technical University of Catalunya and a Master’s in Urban Design from Istanbul Technical University.
Since joining Gillespies in 2019, Busra has been a key member of the team delivering Elephant Park, London’s greenest neighbourhood. She has contributed to multiple phases of the regeneration, including the design of the new community park, creating inclusive green spaces that promote wellbeing and biodiversity. She is also part of the design team for Brent Cross Town, helping shape one of London’s most ambitious new mixed-use neighbourhoods.
Her wider portfolio includes award-winning work across residential, commercial, and cultural landscapes.
In addition to project work, Busra is part of Gillespies’ London social team, championing cultural events that foster a vibrant and collaborative studio culture.
