Alp Adal

Alp Adal is a visionary landscape architect with over 14 years of experience in the design and delivery of landscape design projects across the UK, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. His work spans a diverse range of scales and sectors, including leisure, residential, mixed-use and civic and cultural destinations.

Before joining Gillespies in 2017, Alp gained experience delivering a variety of landscape and urban design projects in Turkey and Kazakhstan with leading multidisciplinary practices. 

Since joining Gillespies, he has delivered a number of large-scale masterplan and public realm projects, contributing to all stages of design development, coordination and implementation. His portfolio includes entertainment-led masterplans across the Middle East and major urban park projects in Makkah that balance cultural identity, environmental sensitivity and visitor experience. 

Alp is an Associate at Gillespies’ Oxford Studio, currently leading landscape-led masterplan projects in Saudi Arabia and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to shape visionary destinations that integrate landscape, culture and experience.
