The Park at Elephant Park wins a Merit Award at the WLA Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Elephant Park has won a Merit Award in the Built Landscape Design category at the 2024 World Landscape Architecture Awards, an international award of excellence in landscape architecture.

The Park is the centrepiece of Elephant Park, the regeneration of Elephant and Castle by Lendlease and Southwark Council into a sustainable new neighbourhood. The development aims to be net zero carbon in operation on completion.

Spanning two acres, it is a thriving, inclusive hub boasting mature trees, expansive lawns, intimate seating areas, winding walkways immersed in nature, and the iconic water feature, Elephant Springs. The Park is a much-loved green oasis in London’s Zone One, where the local community can relax, play, exercise, and socialise.

Since its opening in 2021, and especially during the summer months, the park has become a vibrant hub of community conviviality.
