Sarah Gibson joins LI discussion on approach to Landscape Sensitivity and Capacity Assessment

Last night (7 November 2018), Sarah Gibson, Partner and Head of Landscape Planning at Gillespies took part in an evening seminar and discussion on the approach to Landscape Sensitivity and Capacity Assessments.

Hosted by the London branch of the Landscape Institute and chaired by Ian Houlston from LDA, the evening involved a presentation of Gillespies’ recent Sensitivity and Capacity Assessment for Shropshire Council together with a discussion about the guidelines and draft approach to assessments. Sarah was joined by Jonathan Billingsley, Director of The Landscape Partnership and Christina Tudor from Natural England, who is currently writing the updated guidelines on assessing Landscape Sensitivity and Capacity Assessment.

Sarah, Johnathan and Ian are part of a six-strong ‘Working Group’ who have been selected to help inform the draft approach.
