Sarah Gibson awarded Fellowship of Landscape Institute

We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Gibson, Partner and Head of Landscape Planning at Gillespies, has been awarded a Fellowship by the Landscape Institute Board of Trustees, in recognition of her significant achievements and contributions to the industry over the last 30 years.

Fellowship is the Landscape Institute’s highest grade of membership, and is only open to those who have made a major contribution to the profession.

This award recognises Sarah’s leadership and influence in a number of areas, including people management and project management. During her time at Gillespies, Sarah has made huge contributions to the growth and success of Gillespies’ Manchester studio, and has significantly grown our landscape planning portfolio. She has worked on some of the UK’s most challenging and high-profile projects for clients including HS2, National Grid and a number of local authorities, delivering award-winning work time and time again. Her team recently won an LI award for their work for Shropshire Council, which has also been shortlisted for a planning award.

Sarah is honoured by this recognition and can now stand for elected positions and committee membership, where she will use her expertise, knowledge and voice to help influence and shape our Institute.
