Planning granted for The Waterfront Royal Arsenal Plot A

Planning permission has been granted by the Royal Borough of Greenwich for The Waterfront Royal Arsenal Plot A, a key part of Berkeley Homes’ vision for the Royal Arsenal Riverside masterplan.

On completion, six residential blocks will provide 764 new homes, associated community facilities and a series of green open spaces and residential courtyards.

The development of the Royal Arsenal Riverside scheme has and continues to transform Woolwich Town Centre and its environs through the creation of strong public realm defined by a network of streets, a series of new squares and a brand new Waterfront Park that will connect the town centre to the river.

Plot A sits at the north end of this new Waterfront Park and embraces the meandering green nature of this new piece of public realm. As well as creating a new place for living within the Waterfront Masterplan, Plot A has the potential to unlock and bring public life into what has been an island of sunken car parking for many years.
