Planning granted for the final phases of Stockport Exchange
We are delighted to announce that planning permission has been granted for the next and final phase of the Stockport Exchange. This milestone marks over a decade of successful collaboration with Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and MUSE Developments. The approved hybrid application represents the next chapter in the Stockport Exchange’s dynamic evolution.
The next phase, 4 Stockport Exchange, features 60,000 sq ft of office space expertly designed by Sheppard Robson, alongside an enhanced public realm and a sustainable environment along the key corridor adjacent to Stockport Leisure Centre. Future phases will extend the neighbourhood to the A6, introducing a new public square that will complement the already celebrated public spaces embraced by Stopfordians.
It has been great to have worked alongside a fantastic client and team, including Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, Muse Development, Sheppard Robson, Hannan Associates, Savills, WSP, Buro Four, and Civic Engineers. The scheme has been brought to life by architectural visuals by Not Just Yellow.
