Opening Celebration at 3 Wellington Place

Gillespies joined client MEPC to celebrate the official opening of 3 Wellington Place, the latest Grade A office building to be completed as part of the Wellington Place Masterplan in Leeds. Once complete, Wellington Place will establish a new urban quarter in the heart of Leeds, providing state-of-the-art offices, homes, retail and leisure facilities.

Gillespies role was to develop a high quality public realm around 3 Wellington Place, including a landscaped pedestrian boulevard which forms a connection between the recently completed Tower Square scheme and the city centre.

Gillespies continue to be involved in the subsequent phases, with Buildings 7 and 8 currently under construction and Building 4 awaiting planning approval in March 2018.
