NLA Zero Carbon London report features four Gillespies projects
New London Architecture has published a report into how the capital is responding to the climate emergency.
The Zero Carbon London report includes survey findings from over 100 companies in the sector, detailed analysis and a showcase of over 80 exemplar projects that are pushing the bar of environmental design. Among the featured schemes are four projects by Gillespies – Aldgate Square, Elephant Park, South Gardens and The Forge.
Each of these pioneering schemes showcase the important role high-quality landscape and public realm design can play in combatting climate change and biodiversity loss.
London has committed to becoming a low carbon city by 2050, with the Mayor proposing to bring the deadline forward to 2030.
