NLA Award shortlist hat-trick for The Park within Elephant Park

The Park within Elephant Park has been shortlisted at this year’s New London Architecture (NLA) London Awards.

The project, a spectacular 2-acre green oasis at the heart of the ground-breaking revitalisation of Elephant & Castle by Lendlease and Southwark Council, is shortlisted in the placemaking, wellbeing and environmental prize categories.

The New London Awards celebrate projects that improve the quality of new design amidst London’s rich blend of old and new and support the regeneration and enrichment of London’s streets and public spaces, creating a more sustainable, equitable city.

The project is now eligible for The People’s Choice Award, which is decided by a public vote and will be announced on Friday 26 November, along with the category winners at the NLA’s annual lunch. You can find a link to the People’s Choice Award page here to place your vote.
