New appointment boosts Gillespies’ Landscape Planning expertise

Michelle Bolger BA Dip LA CMLI, an experienced expert witness, has joined Gillespies to lead their landscape planning team in the southern England region.

Gillespies is expanding its landscape planning team, building on its recent successful delivery of the landscape elements of the Development Consent Order Application for Somerset's Hinckley Point C nuclear power station.

Michelle joins Gillespies after building her reputation as an outstanding expert witness, based on her landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) expertise, focused on the energy and housing sectors. Michelle previously worked for Liz Lake Associates where her recent work included giving the landscape evidence for a major developer at a successful call-in inquiry for residential development within the green belt.

Michelle is also currently Vice Chair of the Landscape Institute's Education and Membership Committee and a member of the Landscape Institute Advisory Council.

This new appointment further enhances Gillespies' established landscape planning team, who have gained a national reputation for integrating landscape and visual impact assessment with landscape design.  Gillespies' landscape planners and designers work across a range of sectors, including housing, transport, energy and infrastructure.
