Michèle Farley promoted to Associate

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Michèle Farley to Associate. This promotion is an acknowledgement of Michèle’s exceptional design ability, project management skills and success in forging strong, long-lasting relationships with partners and clients.

Michèle joined Gillespies’ London studio in 2019 as a Senior Landscape Architect and was quickly promoted to Principal a year later. She has been actively involved in a number of large-scale public realm projects. These include the Jersey Waterfront Framework, a landscape-led masterplan for the major development of St Helier, and Bankside Yards, a mixed-use masterplan adjacent to Tate Modern in London, working with Allies and Morrison, Make, Stiff and Trevillion and PLP.

Michèle has also been instrumental in spearheading the practice’s internal approach to research, development and innovation, through a number of successful initiatives including the LandLabs sessions, a talk series where she invites an international field of experts to join a conversation on topics as wide-ranging as Australian Cities post-Covid and current landscape design in Norway and Cambridge Massachusetts.

This promotion will bring a fresh perspective to our management team and we are excited to see how Michèle will continue to help to shape our future evolution as a practice.
